The 2011-2012 series of the Redlands Chamber Music Society begins Oct. 23 with all performances held at the University of Redlands, Frederick Loewe Performance Hall, 1200 Colton Ave., Redlands. All concerts begin at 4 p.m. Tickets are $20 and season tickets are $70. Student are admitted for $5. Tickets are available at the door.
The Redlands Chamber Music Society proudly hosts world renown artists and presents signature post-concert receptions at beautiful Redlands homes.All audience members are invited to meet the artists and enjoy wine and a light dinner that is included in the price of the ticket.
The Chamber Music Society is pleased to announce the 2011-2012 season:
On Oct. 23, The Delphi Trio will give their debut performance for the Redlands Chamber Music Society.Based in San Francisco, The Delphi Trio is featured regularly in concert as resident ensemble of the Chamber Music in Marin series, and is ensemble in residence for the Dakota Sky International Piano Festival.
On Nov. 20, the chamber society introduces the Aiana String Quartet, the most recent winners of the Coleman International Chamber Music contest in Pasadena. The Aiana Quartet is the Young Professional String Quartet in residence at the University of Texas, Austin.
On Jan. 22, the chamber welcomes the Hausmann String Quartet. The Quartet holds the Morrison Fellowship Award in residency with the Alexander String Quartet at the International Center for the Arts, San Francisco State University.
On Feb. 19, the Redlands Choral Artists will perform under the direction of Jean-Sébastien Vallée, one of the nation’s leading new figures in the world of choral music. Vallee has assembled a group of 16 singers from across Southern California who demonstrate virtuosity, versatility and a commitment to excellence.
